Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling: The Orlando Owner’s Guide
Caesarstone kitchen remodeling in Orlando typically runs $14,000 to $45,000 installed, depending on slab size, edge profile, and how much of the surrounding kitchen needs rework. We stock Caesarstone-compatible materials, schedule most countertop and backsplash work within a week of template, and handle everything from a single slab replacement to a full kitchen gut-out. The most common way Orlando homeowners end up here: a Caesarstone surface has chipped, cracked, or separated at a seam, and they want to know if it’s a repair or a replace. Often it’s both. The countertop job becomes the nudge to fix the sink, the faucet, the cabinets that were already tired.
What surprises most people is how differently Caesarstone behaves from natural stone. It’s quartz, which means it’s non-porous and doesn’t need sealing, but it also doesn’t tolerate heat the way granite does. A hot pan straight off the burner can leave a scorch mark or cause thermal shock cracking. We see it regularly in Dr. Phillips and Winter Park kitchens. So the part that failed is rarely the whole slab; it’s usually a seam, an edge, or a section around the sink.
We’re Sawyer Remodel Orlando, an independent Orlando contractor. We’re not affiliated with Caesarstone, but we install and repair their product alongside Cambria and Silestone, and we’ve been doing kitchen work here since 2005.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone runs three main lines: the Classic Collection, the Supernatural Collection, and the Outdoor Collection. The part that matters for remodeling is your slab’s color code and finish, not just the brand name. Caesarstone colors carry a four-digit number, like 5141 Frosty Carrina or 5100 Vanilla Noir. That number is printed on the back of the slab and on your original order paperwork if you kept it. You’ll also want to know the finish: polished, honed, or the newer textured finishes like the Supernatural matte surfaces. Honed and textured finishes hide scratches better but are slightly harder to repair invisibly.
If your slab predates 2015, it may be a discontinued color. Caesarstone rotates their catalog, especially the Supernatural line. When a color is discontinued, an exact-match slab isn’t coming back, but we can often source a close match from a local Orlando stone yard or cut a matching section from a remnant. The gotcha: Caesarstone slabs are 56.5 inches by 120 inches. If your island overhang or run exceeds that, the fabricator has to seam it, and seam quality is where most Orlando installs go wrong. We’ve seen seams pop within two years because the installer used the wrong adhesive for Florida’s humidity swings.
OEM versus aftermarket: for the stone itself, there’s only Caesarstone product. For the edge profile, the sink cutout, and the support brackets, quality aftermarket fabrication materials hold up just fine. The real decision is who cuts and installs it. A bad cut can’t be un-cut.

Signs Your Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Seam separation. The seam between two slabs opens up slightly, catches crumbs, and looks like a dark line. Cause: the adhesive failed from humidity cycling, or the cabinet base settled. Orlando’s wet season is brutal on kitchen cabinetry, and the countertop sits right on top of that movement.
- Chipped edges. A clean chip along the front edge or at the sink cutout. Cause: impact from a pot or pan, often on a sharp 90-degree edge. Eased and bullnose profiles chip far less often.
- Thermal scorch marks. A dull gray or white discoloration where something hot sat. Cause: direct heat exposure. Quartz binds with resin, and resin burns. Unlike granite, this won’t polish out.
- Sink area cracking. Hairline cracks radiating from the sink corners. Cause: poor support at the cutout, a heavy cast-iron sink, or an installer who skipped the reinforcing rods.
- Staining or haze. A film that won’t clean off with standard countertop spray. Cause: chemical damage from acidic cleaners or hard water buildup. Non-porous means stains can’t soak in, but the surface can still etch from the wrong chemicals.

Here’s the Orlando pricing breakdown for Caesarstone kitchen remodeling work:
| Scope | Installed Price Range | Typical Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Full kitchen remodel with Caesarstone counters | $14,000 – $45,000 | 4 – 8 weeks |
| Small kitchen remodel | $9,000 – $20,000 | 3 – 5 weeks |
| Countertop replacement (Caesarstone slab, includes tear-out) | $2,000 – $6,500 | 1 – 2 weeks after template |
| Backsplash installation | $800 – $2,500 | 2 – 4 days |
| Kitchen island with Caesarstone top | $3,000 – $10,000 | 2 – 4 weeks |
Every quote includes demolition, haul-away, plumbing disconnection and reconnection for the sink, fabrication, installation, and a written line-item price before we start. No change orders unless you add scope. The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the workmanship for a full year in writing. If a seam pops, we come back.
What drives the range: slab thickness (2cm vs 3cm), edge profile complexity, backsplash material, and whether the cabinets need reinforcement or replacement. A 3cm slab with a waterfall island edge in a larger Orlando kitchen lands toward the top. A simple 2cm replacement over existing stable cabinets lands near the bottom.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check a few things yourself: look for a color code on the underside of the slab, check whether your cabinets are level with a simple bubble level, and inspect the seam by running a fingernail across it. If it catches, the seam is opening. That’s your diagnostic, and it takes five minutes.
What you should not do is try to cut, lift, or repair quartz yourself. Caesarstone slabs weigh roughly 18 pounds per square foot, which puts most kitchen runs over 500 pounds. Silica dust from cutting quartz is a respiratory hazard. A dropped slab destroys cabinets, floors, and sometimes bones. We’ve seen the aftermath of a DIY countertop removal in Conway that ended with a shattered window and a hospital visit. The person saved nothing. Call (850) 809-0306 and let us template it correctly. Good work doesn’t need a speech, it just needs to hold up.
FAQs

Caesarstone quartz typically lasts 20 to 25 years or more in a Florida kitchen when installed correctly. The slab won’t fail; the seams, edges, and support structure fail first, usually from humidity-related cabinet movement.
A seam can be re-glued, a small chip filled, and a scorch mark sometimes buffed out, but cracked quartz at a sink cutout usually requires full replacement. We’ll tell you which one you’ve got before quoting. Call (850) 809-0306 for an honest assessment.
From template to install is typically 7 – 10 days. Tear-out and new slab install is a one-day job. If cabinets need work under the stone, add that timeline to the front end.
We source through Orlando stone yards that carry current Caesarstone colors, and we maintain relationships with local fabricators for remnant matching. If your color is discontinued, we’ll show you the three closest current options before you commit. Call (850) 809-0306 to get the process started.
