Meet the Orlando Team Behind Sawyer Remodel Orlando
We’re a crew of remodelers who’ve spent years working in Orlando homes, and we’ve seen just about everything Central Florida construction can throw at a house. Humidity that eats cheap drywall. Slab foundations that shift with the seasons. Bathrooms that were never vented properly in the first place. What unites our team isn’t a logo or a slogan. It’s a shared habit of writing things down, showing up when we say we will, and treating someone’s kitchen or bathroom like it’s our own. That’s how we’ve run jobs in Orlando since 2005.

Our People

Luca Romano, Owner & Lead Contractor
Luca started Sawyer Remodel Orlando in 2005 after spending his early years in the trades learning what happens when a remodel has no written scope and no accountability. He’s the person who walks your project first, builds your written price line by line, and checks the finish work before anyone calls a job done. His specialty is seeing the load path: what’s carrying weight, what’s hiding water damage, and what’s going to fail in a Florida summer if it gets ignored. When he’s not on a jobsite, he’s usually at the lumber yard arguing about the moisture content in framing stock, or cooking something with too much garlic and no recipe. He’s the guy who writes “if it’s not done right, we make it right” into the contract because he means it.
Marcus T., Senior Bathroom Installer
Marcus has been setting tile and hanging cabinetry in Orlando for over 12 years, and he’s the reason our bathroom remodels in College Park and Conway hold up for decades. He’s certified in Schluter waterproofing systems, which matters in a city where a leaking shower pan turns into a mold problem fast. His drywall seams disappear under paint, and he can tell from across the room whether a vanity is a sixteenth out of level. Marcus keeps a notebook in his truck with measurements from every bathroom he’s ever done, which is either impressive or concerning, depending on who you ask. He plays bass in a weekend band and claims grout float technique improves with rhythm. We don’t argue with him.
Elena R., Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice on the phone when you call Sawyer Remodel Orlando, and she runs the schedule, the live arrival time tracking, and the photo update flow that keeps every project under The Relay Standard. She’s been coordinating remodels for 8 years and knows the permits process for the City of Orlando and unincorporated Orange County well enough to flag a holdup before it becomes a delay. Before joining us, she worked in commercial construction scheduling, which means she treats a bathroom remodel with the same documentation discipline as a build-out. Elena is the one who makes sure your written price lands in your hands before any work starts and that your invoice matches it after. She’s an Orlando native, knows every back-road shortcut from Winter Park to Dr. Phillips, and can probably tell you which week the lovebugs will show up before the news does.
Devon P., Apprentice Carpenter
Devon has been with our Orlando crew for two years, learning framing, trim, and finish carpentry from the rest of the team. What he lacks in decades of experience he makes up for in obsessive attention to detail, which is a nicer way of saying he once spent 40 minutes adjusting a door reveal most people would never notice. He’s taking coursework toward his general contractor license and rotates through every stage of a remodel, from demo to final punch list. Devon grew up in Seminole County, and his first real construction lesson came from helping his uncle repair hurricane-strapped roof sheathing after a bad season. He still asks a lot of questions, which we encourage. The day a carpenter stops asking questions is the day they start guessing.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on our Orlando crew operates under The Relay Visibility Guarantee. That means a written price before any work starts, live arrival time tracking so you know exactly who is walking up to your door and when, and photo updates throughout the project so you can see progress without standing over someone’s shoulder. The 365-Day Done Right Promise is on every job in writing: if it’s not done right within a year of project close, we make it right, no argument. It’s not a marketing line we trot out when someone complains. It’s a commitment tied to the work itself, and to the people who do it. When the team from Sawyer Remodel Orlando is on your job, the standard doesn’t change from week one to week ten. The only thing that changes is how much closer your home gets to what you pictured when you first called.
